A Tribute in Motion: The Return of The Traverse City LipDub

In 2011, I had the honor of directing a city-wide performance that captured the essence of Traverse City, Michigan. Known as the Traverse City Lip Dub, this 8-minute video reflected the town's creativity and vibrancy, making waves far beyond the city limits.

However, the artistic landscape of Traverse City recently underwent a major change with the termination of the Traverse City Film Festival, by it’s founder. The festival had been a cultural cornerstone for almost 20 years before its unexpected closure.

In tribute to the impact of the Traverse City Film Festival, I am thrilled to announce the re-release of the Traverse City Lip Dub. This reprisal isn't just about nostalgia; it's a salute to the spirit of a city that won't be defined by the end of a single event.

As we share the Traverse City Lip Dub once again, we send a strong message - the unity, creativity, and resilience of Traverse City will persist, even in the absence of its film festival.

So here's to Traverse City, a testament to enduring spirit and unyielding creativity.
